Arsenal are interested in signing Jeremy Doku from Rennes in the January transfer window, according to . The report has claimed that former Premier League winner Arsenal are among five clubs who are keen on securing the services of the 20-year-old winger.

Doku has been on the books of Rennes since 2020 when he moved from Anderlecht for €26 million. The winger has established himself as one of the best young players in his position in France and has been doing well for Rennes. Jose Mourinho wants to see both Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen commit their futures to Tottenham after Toby Alderweireld signed a new contract on Friday.

Alderweireld had been out of contract at the end of this season but extended his deal until 2023.

The Swiss special prosecutor has opened criminal proceedings against FIFA president Gianni Infantino relating to dealings with the country s attorney general Michael Lauber.

Lauber offered to resign from his position last week after a court found he covered up an undisclosed meeting with the head of football s governing body and lied to supervisors while his office probed corruption relating to FIFA.

Stefan Keller was appointed as special prosecutor to review criminal complaints against Infantino, Lauber and other individuals.

A statement from the Swiss Federal Council said Keller had found indications of criminal conduct .
