Sevilla keen on Alvaro Morata, Stevan Jovetic

La Liga hotshots Sevilla are making big plans for the January transfer window.

After identifying Manchester United defender Eric Bailly as their primary transfer target this winter, Los Rojiblancos are said to be searching for attacking reinforcements as well.

Spanish news outlet Marca claims Pablo Machin has compiled a two-name wish list consisting of Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata and AS Monaco striker Stevan Jovetic.

With Luis Muriel leaving the club, Sevilla were left short of options upfield and the club sporting director Joaquin Caparros is said to be working around the clock to plug the holes and add more depth to the forward line.

Calabria fires Milan warning: This is our last chance to stay in the Champions League

Davide Calabria fired a warning to Milan as he declared Wednesday s clash with Porto to be their last chance of staying in the Champions League.

The Rossoneri are bottom of Group B, having lost all three of their matches against Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and Porto, and are on a five-game losing streak overall in the competition – the worst such run in their history.

Should they lose to Sergio Conceicao s side at San Siro and Atletico beat Liverpool at Anfield, Milan will be unable to finish higher than fourth in the group, meaning their European campaign would be over for 2021-22.

While their domestic form has been strong – they have won 10 of 11 Serie A matches this season, something only three teams have achieved before – Milan were deeply unconvinc…

Del Bosque delighted to see Spain score three times

Vicente del Bosque was delighted to see Spain score three times in their 3-0 win over Turkey as they booked their ticket for the knockout stages at Euro 2016.

The titleholders have been struggling in front of goal in recent months and needed a late Gerard Pique header to see off Czech Republic 1-0 on matchday one.

Their finishing was up to scratch against Turkey though, as an Alvaro Morata double and a Nolito strike helped them to victory.

We have completed our first objective, qualifying for the next round and did so with a good performance. We were in charge for the entire game and scored goals, which we have been struggling to do, coach Del Bosque said after the game in Nice.

We now have to focus on the game against Croatia and see if we can make it …
